Very special "garage find" 23749 actual mile car has been in the same family since new. The car has been with the same family member for 50 years .This engineer MG owner knew how to care for a special car. The car has always been garaged kept, looked after and preserved to the car you see now .The miles are actual, the paint is largely original ,the engine is original ( has had a recent top end rebuild).The engine is like a sewing machine and may simply be the smoothest running and sounding MG 4 cyl engine that I have experienced.
EVERYTHING about the car mechanically is tight, solid, sorted and in good order. The transmission is quiet ,the suspension is tight.
All gauges work as designed and are still crisp. Wheels are true, tires are deep in tread.
We did not have the car cleaned or detailed ,the pictures you see are of the car exactly as we pulled it from the garage. The owner is now 90 years old and has lived the last fifty years with this extraordinary condition MG TF 1500.
The paint as already mentioned is largely original and in excellent condition. The bright work is in great condition with no scratches or pitting .All trim and emblems are in good order.Weather gear is in good condition.
The doors are as tight as any MGT SERIES car I have seen ,very little to no movement in the hinges, no wood disintegration.
The leather of the seats ,door cards ,and carpet are original and in excellent condition.
