LML650

We are privileged once again to offer this beautiful DB 2/4 once more after over 25 years.
Chassis number LML650 was delivered new on 27/3/1954 to a Mr C.P Thomas via distributors Eastern Motors of Singapore , but was personally collected from the factory in Feltham new.
After 9,000 miles it was shipped to Singapore , after 139k and on retirement, the car was sold in Singapore before being sold again, to a BA 747 Captain Peter Tame in 1986, and there it remained until 1999 .
After importation into Melbourne that year , Brooklands sold the car to a client in South Australia in April 2000.
Even though the Aston had a comprehensive history , he carried out an exhaustive and full restoration with Marque Specialists and others in South Australia to the highest standard.
After a little use the car was sold to the last owner in 2020.
However, apart from copious files and receipts detailing the cars almost full history from new, is a fascinating series of letters from the original owner to Peter Tame relating LML650’s history and life.
It had competed in a few rallies and was even shipped back to Italy for a family holiday in 1959 via Lloyd Triestino before returning to Singapore.
The letters , files and later receipts and records provide a rare opportunity to own a classic Aston Martin with an almost unbroken first hand history from the 4 long term owners from new. Please contact us for any further information.
