MGC GT 1968 Manual + Overdrive

The MGC and its sibling the GT started off life on a rocky road. The Motoring Press gave it a poor report and as such it didn’t achieve the sales that MG was looking for. However over the years the car has gained a serious following and is now an icon in the MG Range of cars.
This truly stunning MGC has also had the initial issues that the Press removed and the results are truly amazing. Gone is the heavy leaden steering. Gone is the lumbering performance. Instead here we have a car that is light on its feet, and responds so much better than the standard car, its hard to believe they are related.

In addition to this, the car was taken off the road in 2000 for around 10 years. During that time the car was subject to major mechanical and body work and returned to the road in 2010 having covered 82000 in total. This is believed genuine as there is a very comprehensive History file with the car. Since then the car has covered only 6000 miles, so you could say its only just run in.
To say this is one of the best MGC GTs currently available could be an understatement. With the spec and correct improvements to the car, it may even be the best. And, if you are seeking a car to compete in Classic Endurance Rallying this might just be the perfect car.
Priced at £26995, you couldn’t buy an MGC and build it to this specification for less than this, and it would most likely cost significantly more.
